Scene 01· About

Hello.

I'm Krishna, a software engineer. I like building things end-to-end, the kind of work where you design the database schema in the morning and argue with a hover state at night. Most of my stack is TypeScript: React and Next.js up front, Node and Postgres behind it. Lately there's Swift in the mix too, because I wanted my Mac's notch to do something useful.

I care about clean user experiences more than clever code. Software should feel considered, not assembled. The details worth obsessing over are the quiet ones: empty states, loading order, the space between things.

Away from the keyboard, I'm mostly at the movies. I log everything on Letterboxd, and I'll cross the city for a real IMAX screen. That part of me keeps finding its way into what I build. You'll notice it around here if you look closely.

Scene 02· Letterboxd

Frame by frame.

Everything I watch, logged and rated. Rendered live by a stat-card service I wrote myself.

Featured Moment

My review of Top Gun: Maverick was featured in Times Square.

Written from a theater seat. Projected over Seventh Avenue, beside the film it praised.

  • Contributed across production client applications using Next.js, React, NestJS, TypeScript, and Python, working on frontend systems, API integrations, and backend service workflows.
  • Designed multi-service workflows connecting NestJS applications with Python NLP services, using Redis Pub/Sub and Celery workers for asynchronous indexing, data synchronization, and background processing.
  • Configured environment-isolated event channels and VPS-hosted services with Redis and database connectivity, while using Claude Code and MCP-based workflows to navigate codebases and accelerate implementation.
